Phil Foden is back in the team now. But don't think it will make much different to the team as they all have played so badly. I Don't think we will get any further in the euro's. And to be honest I don't think they deserve to carry on. There is no passion in the team to play for your contry. They are paid way to much and pampered to much. And they get so upset with fan who criticize them say how they feel. which I feel they have the right to do so after spending so much money going to see them.

![]() ![]() Talk about a lucky squeak. --- World-class teams don't wait until the 95th minute of a game before they score their first goal. I'm sure that Gareth would have resigned, ( or been sacked ) had they lost that game against Slovakia. IF the players want him to take them forward to the World Cup in Canada, USA and Mexico in 2026, they must convince him by showing a more positive attitude. I would like to see either Cole Palmer or Ivan Toney make the starting line-up against Switzerland on Saturday. Both are positive strikers who play with no fear. Unless the team can show more dynamism, they have no chance of succeeding. The Lionesses play their final 2 group games against Ireland 12th July and finally Sweden on 16th. They are currently 3rd in their group behind Sweden ( 2nd place) only on goal difference. They will need to beat Sweden to be certain of progressing. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
