The Haunted House
Kendra was just a normal girl from a small town. She was taking classes at a local college while working as a waitress at a popular diner. Her good looks made her a lot of tips especially on weekends when they would get a sizable crowd. Her wavy blond hair and sparkling blue eyes could grab anyone's attention and she was used to compliments.
The Friday evening shift started out as usual. She was about an hour in when a group of people came in. They appeared to be close to her age but she'd never seen them before. That was odd for a town this size. She introduced herself and took their orders. She could feel them staring at her as she walked away. Upon returning they asked her a question. "Ever done the one hour dare?" Asked one of the young men. "Ummm I'm not sure what you mean." "Were from Clarksville. About an hour away from here. There's an old run down house in our town and people get dared to stay in there by themselves for an hour at night. Pretty much everyone we know has done it so we wanted to get an out of towner." Explained one of the girls. They all looked like regular people and Kendra was always up for making new friends so she agreed to meet them at the house. After some small talk they gave her detailed directions, paid their bill and left. The last part of her shift went by fast. When she got home she changed into a denim skirt and a white blouse. She wanted to make a good impression and she wouldn't mind grabbing the attention of one of the guys in the group. They drive was easy enough and she found the house with no problem. It was hard to miss. It had to be at least 150 years old. She couldn't believe it was still standing. Kendra pulled up next to the car with the group of people inside. They all got out and she stood with them in front of the house. "You sure you're up for this?" Asked the guy she liked. "Oh please. I'm not scared of anything." "It supposed to be haunted." Said one of the girls. Kendra rolled her eyes and went for the door. It was unlocked and made an eerie creaking sound when she opened it. A musty smell hit her right away. It was pitch black. She took a few steps inside and closed the door. She wasn't allowed to use a flashlight so she had to feel her way around. After a few minutes her eyes adjusted to to dark and she could make out enough shapes to avoid bumping into anything. She walked around what she assumed was the living room. Was it her imagination or could she hear a buzzing noise? She followed the noise to a door. She opened it and could see that it led down to the basement. It was lit and she could see shadows moving. Obviously her new 'friends' were messing with her. She would show them. She stomped loudly down the flight of stairs. When she reached the bottom she saw that the room was set up like an old operating room in a hospital. She immediately got goosebumps and turned to go back up the stairs when she saw the door slam shut. As she heard the loud bang a rag was forced over her face from behind. Instinctively she inhaled to scream but instead she choked on the medicinal fumes. "MMMMPH!" She protested. "MMMMMMMPH!!!" It was no use. She was lifted off the ground and her legs were kicking in thin air. Were the lights flickering or was her vision blurring? Her legs were beginning to feel heavy. She could feel tingles all over her face and her muffled screams seemed to be coming from far away. "Mmmmmmph...mmmph." She could no longer move her legs and her vision was too blurred to see anything. "mmmph....mmph." Her eyes closed and darkness enveloped her. ***** Kendra could hear talking. She groggily opened her eyes to see a bright light glaring down at her. When she tried to sit up she discovered that she was strapped to the hospital bed in the basement. "Hey wh- what's happening?" Her speech was slurred. She heard a strong male voice. "She's awake. We'll have to put her out again before the boss gets here." "Wait!" She screamed. "Tell me what's happening!" A rubber mask was placed over her mouth and nose. A female voice spoke. "Haha don't you worry. Just start counting back from ten." Kendra heard a hissing sound and a puff of air hit her face. "Please!" She cried. A hand began to stroke her forehead. "Shhhh. Just take a few deep breaths and it will all be over." Kendra tried to struggle but it was no use. Her head was feeling light. A familiar tingling was spreading over her face. She felt as if she was sinking into the bed. Her eyelids were feeling so heavy. She tried blinking but her eyes didn't open very easily and fluttered shut. Once again she was unconscious. ***** Kendra could tell she was in a vehicle. She was blindfolded and had her hands tied behind her back. Her ankles were also bound. "Stop the car." She said groggily. "Ah she's awake again." A voice she hadn't heard. "You just relax. You're almost to your new home." She felt a prick in her shoulder. "Ouch!" Uh oh. She couldn't see anything but the familiar feeling of weightlessness was washing over her. She wondered where she would wake up next. |

Haha well I'm in a horror movie kind of mood tonight. Something about a creepy old house brings out the pervert in me I guess. Thanks for the comment!

Maybe the boss will turn out t be a ghost, and he can only communicate with her when she is one breath from unconsciousness. Perhaps he will be a good looking hunk and she will beg to be put under over and over to see him again....
