Arsenal win FA cup after nearly screwing it up!
Arsenal ended their almost 9 year trophy drought. It was a good win, but Wenger needs to pull his finger out and sign some players (preferably a centre back and a defensive midfielder. Also a right back if Sagna goes). When Hull's second goal went in, I thought there was a good chance we'd come back. But when Cazorla (imho one of our best players this season) scored his free kick soon after I was confident we could come back and win. It was fitting Ramsey scored the winner after hopw good a season he's had and if he hadn't got injured, it could have made a difference. But would his presence have prevented Arsenal capitulating in the big games? I'm not sure.
It's a shame Sagna looks like he's going to leave. He has been one of our most consistent performers over the past few seasons. Pundits always say Johnson and Walker are the best right backs in the leage but imho, they're being patriotic prats. For my money, Sagna's a better right back than they are. Especially defensively. |

I left the room at 2-0..... thinking typical Arsenal. in the big games, they always come up short but fair play to them, they show grit and determination to get the win. the http://www.sincearsenallastwonatrophy.co.uk/ site crashed after the win and the clock had to reset
I agree, Wenger needs to buy some marquee players..how dissapointing has Ozil been this season!? |

Any information about that cup we won? Teams that participate, what FA stands for? Is it the previous League cup? And the team we won in which category plays? Never heard of it before.

The FA Cup (Football Association Cup) is probably the second most prestigous home trophy a team can win in the UK, behind the Premier League title. It's a big trophy in the UK but in money and viewer stakes, some way off the Premier League title and of course the Champions League
More info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FA_Cup cheers John |

I don't get Ozil. Wenger says he lacks confidence, but he never seems willing to put the effort in. I don't think it's because more effort is required in the premier league, because I don't think his effort level would be seen as high enough in la liga either. It seems to me that he sort of decided it was his first season and he'd be given time to adapt, so he'd coast through it. Even in the FA Cup final! Maybe he'll be better next season? I definitely hope that he will be!
