Arsene Wenger - dither, dither, dither
I don't know about you, but the performance in the January transfer window seems to suggest that Wenger has returned to his bad old dithering ways. All he managed to do was sign Kim Kallstrom on loan tp solve an injury crisis in midfield, only for it to turn out that he is injured too! Doh! Against all expectations at the start of the season, Arsenal are challenging for the premier league for the first time in years! Another striker and a midfielder to cover the injuries could have made all the difference this season and this is all he manages to do! Unbelievable!
I would just like to point out a couple of points regarding Mesut Ozil, too. It was a good transfer, but Mesut Ozil is a world class player who has played well for Germany and Real Madrid. Wenger knew just what he was getting when he spent the money. Imho, the problem he had before was that his judgement of less well known players was not what it was. Secondly, the rest of the squad started playing better since Ozil arrived and with more confidence. If the Arsenal players were not playing to their potential before due to lack of confidence, surely that is Wenger's fault? Isn't he employed to get the best out of his players?
