So England get Big Sam Allardyce. He may strengthen their defence, but if the England fans want attractive football, i fear they're in for a disappointment. Long ball Sam ( as he was widely known at West Ham ), genuinely didn't understand why Hammers fans booed the team off the pitch at the end of a 1-0 win in a dour depressing match. Not long after, he was gone.
I wish them well but i struggle to be optimistic
I would have given Glen Hoddle another shot--his razor-sharp analysis in commentary, shows his depth of knowledge of the game.
